Over the past twenty years, Austrian white wine has become a distinctive stylistic benchmark – precise, saline, with a clear acid structure. Our range includes 112 wines from the key regions: Kamptal, Kremstal, Wagram, Wachau, Weinviertel, and Southern Styria.
Grüner Veltliner is Austria's leading grape variety – peppery, grassy, with characteristic "peppery" notes in the finish. We offer it from Fred Loimer (Kamptal) and Leo Uibel (Weinviertel). Riesling is complemented by Herbert Zillinger and Wieninger; from Southern Styria come the Sauvignon Blancs and Morillons from Sattlerhof and Wohlmuth.
Stylistically, almost all the wines are vinified dry. Residual sweetness plays a smaller role in Austrian white wine than in its German counterpart. Most winemakers work organically or biodynamically – a detail that is more often true than not in our selection.
