Sekt is the German answer to Champagne – and in the best establishments, it's now hardly inferior. 96 Sekts in our assortment, almost exclusively from traditional bottle fermentation with 12 to 36 months of yeast aging, often longer. No mass-produced tank-fermented goods.
The three style-defining houses are represented in our assortment: Sekthaus Raumland from Flörsheim-Dalsheim with long yeast aging and classic cuvées, Griesel & Compagnie from Bensheim with single-varietal Sekts (Riesling, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs), and Andres & Mugler from the Palatinate. In addition, individual bottles from Palatinate winemakers (Metzger, Oliver Zeter) and Italian Spumanti from Pasini San Giovanni.
Dosage range: from Brut Nature (0 g/l) to Extra Dry (12–17 g/l). The majority is Brut – dry, but not puristic. Serve at 6–8 °C in a tulip glass.
